SO! Why has no one bothered to remix this song yet? XD
This is the music from the first level of Contra: Hard Corps, best damn intro of any old school game I've seen. >:)
Seriously, the city's under attack, you crash your truck through enemies, jump from the windshield and start f***ing shit up! What's not hard core about that?! :D
So anyways, this was a while in the making, originally started with a midi file of mine way back in the day when I still had my old-ass PowerPC Mac, freakin 7100 I think? I don't know. But anyways, my original attempt can be found on vgmusic.com, although it's still under the "new additions" section, despite I submitted it in like 2010... Wasn't as accurate to the original, as you'll see if you bother looking for it, but it still came out nicely for a midi. This however was GB'd, and Slayer'd. That's right, I used FL Slayer. In Garageband. I'm evil. The way this song sounds is like it's supposed to be like an industrial/dance type thing, so that's what I went for, with little metal edge in there too. Drum beats kind of stay true to the original as well as the riffs and leads.
So, enjoy, kick ass, and don't go running your vehicle off the road anytime soon. XD
