I uploaded this because I'm not endorsing the awful version, in which Carefoot (intentionally? idk) butchered the listening experience with ridiculous volume changes and just talking over the beat. Ughh, it's so terrible.

The link to that train wreck is on Big Red's page and the Clabtrap discussion board.

This is basically here for those who wanted to download the battle, but also don't want to bleed from their ears every time they put it on.

And for real, I wasn't even happy with my audio (recording weirdness+lack of motivation), but whatever. Bring on round 2, for the love of mustard.

Thanks for this awesome beat Ax.

thanks i had to listen to this with a workable sound volume, now i can say without a stunned and offended head or bleeding ears, that you won this, but man i find it hard to believe there was no way to fix the carefoot part, specially since it seems there was a part missing, you know the manclock part which is also loud as fuck, damn so that would need to be fixed too.

I tried to repair the battle, but Red wouldn't let me. Carefoot knew exactly what he was doing. He knew he'd lose and decided to make the battle nearly unlistenable. Because he is the world's first living, breathing pile of shit.

I love how fluid the rhymes go. No stumbles, etc. I'd love to see some more technical chops thrown in future battles. Like those lil triplet slurs 'n stuff at 1:07. Some set backs in emphasis is your p's and b's. everything else is great but its really strange that you're great on emphasis with everything other than 'pop' sounds, or in other words, the higher pass. I'm only saying this because the percussion was drowning you out on the high end, and its the only real error I could nitpick and strikes me as odd. Well done, though, you have quite the talent to win the entire competition if you keep your skills sharp.

Okay, you say these nice things, but in the battle you actually voted for Carefoot? There are so many reasons that this fact is blowing my mind right now...

*Edit- nvm, it was a pity vote. I suppose I understand your motivation for doing it, but still, I could never approve someone pity voting. But thanks for your awesome input here Cabb, I really appreciate thorough reviews like this!

I love how last year flow was your weakside, and now it's your strong point. And oh shit this battle was too good.

Teqneek responds:

Haha, thanks bruhbruhbruhbruh. I always thought flow was my strong point for real, but I've definitely been working hard at improving since last year so I'm glad you noticed.

Glad you liked it, but I actually hated this battle for so many reasons. Just the entire process.

It took so long to complete because of CF's record-breaking lateness, plus I felt like I was caving in to his wishes by finally facing Carefoot after resisting his battle challenges and batshit craziness for so long.

AND, I wasn't happy with my recording for real. Some unexplained weirdness happened that made my vocals sound really loud and feedback-y. I had to turn a bunch of settings down to get a passable recording quality, and I never was satisfied with it. But I've been told by a few people now that it wasn't much of an issue, so that eases my mind a bit.

But for real- I hate the fact that I had to write and rap 2 verses about Nicholas Carefoot. Plus he's been a bitch since the discussion thread opened up. AND his fuckery with the beat and insane volume contrasting- that REALLY made me mad. What a scumbag.

BUT WITHOUT MANCLOCK THIS IS HIGH IN ESTROGEN, WHINE, NASALITY, and you stop to switch flows soooooo... even though you sound like a dub we all know... we all know this track is missing that cowb.. i mean caref... i MEAN MAAN CLOCK

Teqneek responds:

???Manclock???

Why are you (who are you anyway?) and Carefoot screaming that word all over the place. Are you Carefoot's alt, btw?

*No, apparently. You've been here for like 600 years, nvm. DAFUQ IS MANCLOK

Needs more Carefoot.

Teqneek responds:

You know, if you wouldn't have turned the beat down so low during your verses (making mine sound frighteningly loud when i come back on), I woulda considered not posting this.

Considered, and then immediately thought about just how terrible of both a human being and a rapper you are, and still uploaded this version.

I refuse to even accept Red's contributor request for the actual battle, because I'm not putting my name on anything that features your colossal stupidity.
