"the golden years"

date: June 30, 2006

i wish i could have an album, i could make one i guess.
very good song. gotta love the lyrics, athough some of its a little noobish, like after the laugh and when you say "well"
catchy tune.

Author's Response:

It was the first song I made using GarageBand, so yeah a lot of it is noobish because I'm still learning how to use the program. I've gotten better, I must say. The lyrics are great, I know. I didn't write them, though, but it's a great poem with humorous lyrics about old age.
It is indeed a very catchy tune. My favorite part is the outro, with the classical acoustic guitar and the flutes.

"Very intresting"

date: June 29, 2006

I liked the tune that was used throughout the song. The words were not clear on my computer, but it was clear enough to understandd what the words meant. Your music is very original in my case =)

Author's Response:

Thanks! I used the megaphone effect for the vocals, so maybe that's one of the reason why it didn't come out clearly on your computer. The lyrics are:

The golden years have come at last
I cannot see, I cannot pee
I cannot chew, I cannot screw
My hearing stinks, my body shrinks
No sense of smell, I look like hell
The golden years have come at last
Well, the golden years can kiss my ass!

Thanks for the review! =D
