Author's Response:
I liek to think that I have improved to the extent over the years that I no longer mke technical errors :)
and you are right - it is difficult sometimes to remake a song wihtout ruining it or overdoing it. The goal I make on every song is it has to be light and airy and not feel too heavy in my ears - and it has to have a wide enough stereo field with everything on its own level as to not interfere with each other - ive found regardless of the instruments if you follow these rules all your songs should come out fine and then its just a matter of personsal taste on the reviewer's part whether they enjoy it or not :)
the only thing I couldnt do was make it loop - but that was because of the rain.. that and this took a whole day to render and I really didn't feel like re-rendering it. It's funny - the more ram and cpu you have - the more you use - I used about 1200 megs of ram to make this song :P and about 35% of my 4 gig processor..
fl studio is also a bit of a bitch these days - what I used to be able to do with ease in the older versions I have to master and eq lik crazy just to get the same effect and eliminate any unwanted sidehaining - it's a bit ridiculous.
neways..
but wait - if its perfect - why only the 9..?
thanks for the review!
