I can see the neon lights flashing inside the caves now, dinosaurs tripping out on the meat of an ecstasy-bloated cave-corpse. Would make for a good short cartoon.

I have to admit though, that like when I compose music, it achieves a sound, feeling or mood, but doesn't go anywhere.
Heck if you enjoy making it you should never stop.

I liked it a lot. It was very minimalist and had a nice beat. I think you should have developed it more though since the song doesn't really seem to go anywhere and you basically just threw in and cut loops out without any real musical development. I can't help thinking that you could have really burned it up with some killer synchopating beats and overlapping rhythms. It's a good start in any case. I wouldn't really classify this as drum and bass either since there's no bass and drum and bass implies the song has a breakbeat and this song had your simple 4 on the floor thump. I'd put it either in the miscellaneous or techno category but hey, labels don't mean much.
