Despite my crappy vocals, I'm actually really proud of this!
For this song I wanted to write lyrics that contrasted the overall happy tone of the song, especially the riffy part in the middle, and I think I succeeded. I wish I could sing better though.

One thing I don't like about pop music is that a lot of times the sad lyrics contradict the happy background music and it annoys me a lot. You can hear what im talking about by listening to a Demi Lovato song. It's the same thing with this song. But that is not why I removed a star.
I didn't like the synths because they had a very high sound to them, like when you bring up the 7 in the fl studio EQ.
But I am glad your started adding your own vocals to your songs. I think you will get better at it with practice.
You have a point about the lyrics--but this was just an experiment with vocals anyhow. I wanted to write something catchy and I think turned out pretty decent.
And about the synths--I think it's just a matter of taste. I like the way my synths sound, lol. But if you don't like them, that's okay because everyone is entitled to their own opinion
