This track is my second entry to the Newgrounds A.I.M Contest. This piece was inspired by 'keepwalking's 'Off Road' piece which is available here: http://www.newgrounds.com /art/view/keepwalking/off -road

All vocal-work is done by myself
==========
Arising from the grave it wanders,
Circuitry alive as it's eyes awaken,
Fists of colossal punishment spark,
The mountains groan as it's form grows taller.
Golden skies shadowed by it's presence,
Humanity quakes as it takes it's first breath,
The vortex of fear radiates off of everything,
The beast has awaken, hail the destroyer!

The Outlier stomps it's way through the seas,
It crushes everything that it damn well pleases,
The planet quakes with it's every stride,
Crushing aircraft with it's fists ending lives.
Judgement falls upon the poison of the planet,
Insects of filth, humanity targeted,
The Outlier arose from eternal slumber,
Purify the planet before the end is nigh.

The war of the the world quakes the structure,
The Outlier reaping it's enemies,
Humanities fights but their damage is weak,
The beast hungers deaths, victims it seeks.
Batter their cities with it's fists,
Mechanical monstrosity, complexion complete,
Crumble their homes, destroy their lives,
Nothing they can do as their cities are alight.
Nuclear bombardment riddles the beast,
The Outlier laughs as their damage is meek,
The fallout of failure infects their lungs,
Resistance drops dead as their hopes turn to dust,
With every step that is shaking their lives,
The Outlier's closer to purifying life,
Nothing is left as they lose their fight,
The beast has awaken, hail the destroyer!

Smoking lands of the fallen,
Humanity is just a memory,
The Outlier howls as it's mission is complete,
It turns to the skies to fuel it's blood-thirst.
Floating through the void it's hunger never ends,
World by world is destroyed and consumed,
Humanity may spread but it doomed to failure,
The beast reaps all, hail the destroyer!

It crushes everything that it damn well pleases,
The planet quakes with it's every stride,
Crushing aircraft with it's fists ending lives.

WOW! Thumbs up pal!
I'm a huge fan of that kind of beat and you've done an awesome track :)
Industrial FTW

Lich responds:

Glad you enjoy, you'd love the album I'm making once it's released soon I'm guessing? :)

Magnificent aggrotech :) What I like about this song is that is has a more pronounced experimental side to it than most music in this genre. It's not easy to push the envelope in this field, but once you pull it off, the reward is great - and in this case, you've nailed it :) Keep up the good work :) Best of luck :)

Lich responds:

Thank you for the review, glad you enjoy! :)

Not bad but needs more to it. It feels like it missing. It feels too repetitive but nice work on the mixing, but feels a bit all over the place at some parts. Nice work, but I feel this could be built on.

This is quite interesting, and the voice sounds awesome. Compositionally it's not too bad, but I think it could use more work though. Where this track is going to take a hit is on fitting the art. I don't think it's particularly fitting at all, but then again it's a very original take on the piece. Well done track overall nonetheless.

Lich responds:

Personally, I think it fits rather well with the artwork and I'll give you my personal reason why:

What is a machine? A being of compassion, warmness and kind? No. A machine is cold, metallic, harsh and impersonal. Now Imagine if you see one twice the size of a mountain arise from the sea and start treading through the sea and the lands. It would be like something straight out of a sci-fi horror. The colours while it tries to imply a more calming mood, the actual content does the exact opposite for me. That's why the track is hard and harsh. Electro-Industrial isn't personal and neither is a machine.

Saying that you are the judge but I personally prefer this one compared to my higher scoring one and I think both the artwork and the lyrical content fit. Both this and Panzerkraft are being tweaked/improved on, remastered with some of my newer plug-ins and bundled onto my own album which I am making.

Excellent stuff, this song is the real blast. Love the vocal. It has been a while since the last time I listened to aggrotech this good. What I love is the fusion style you have in here. Really catchy. Good choice of instrument, they all fit the theme.

Keep it up, you've earned a fan.

Glad you enjoyed!
