All members of the band were part of our high school's jazz band or symphonic band. As a result, we learned some musical vocabulary, and one of the things we learned was the term "elide." When two melodies elide, it means they overlap each other just slightly so that one instrument may pass on the melody to another person seemlessly without the melody ever stopping.

We attempted that here, but in the end, it was just a cool name for a cool-sounding song. Enjoy!

Holy shit

The general sound happening in this is incredible. The structure itself may be just experimenting, but it sounds really good. Shame you haven't done anything together since

Autumn-Collapse responds:

Thanks a lot! The structure is a little weird, yeah, but in general we really liked the melodies and harmonies coming out of this thing.

We haven't played music together in a while, but we are still playing music on our own! And actually, the original two members (me [Mikey] and Zach) have made one more song together. Check it out if you want, it's called "We Remain Dormant In Fear of Seclusion"

See you around,
