So this track is for the "Art Inspired Music" audio contest. We had to pick a work of art from the newgrounds art portal and turn it into a song. I chose to do Frostbite by Splosh999 or Joshua Summana as he goes by on deviant art.

So uhhh... Frost Bite is a really good digital drawing of an ice cold bitch that chills out in cold water and uhhh... is wet. Oh yeah, she's also really demonic looking! Given how vague the subject matter was I'm pretty confident that I nailed it C:

In all seriousness though I've been loving Josh's drawings. He's really really really fucking good. I had a lot of fun trying to embody that female wetness that's uhhhh.... cold and demonic? Yeah... GO LOOK AT JOSH'S ART HE"S REALLY FUCKING GOOD :D :D :D

Honestly I put a lot of work into this ditty so I'm sorry if the description initially makes it seem insincere. I'm just trying to be silly about it. No joke, this track was 100% composed for this competition. I might want to go back and change some stuff and there's still plenty of time to so if anyone has anything to say: please do!! I want to honor Josh's sheer skill and talent with the best skill and talent I can muster up. Seriously, the guy is really fucking good.

Well since you were kind and write me a review. I'm not often hear or produce much Industrial, so I have little knowledge about different sub-genres. It may be some called steam-punk or gritty. I guess there is a genre called creepy. And here goes!

This is very Interesting. As a piano player you did not play the most advanced progression, and I think that is what needed. (Never play more than needed ;) ). The devil chord is creeping out the song, which fits the art well. The amount of effects used is not to much as well. This is a kind of song that not builds much up, as the modern electronic does.

I can not say much bad for the mixing. You cleaned the mix pretty much up good. The one thing you can add more is distortion. It fits the industrial aspect. Find a good one for your song and add some on the master channel and or all channels.

Else keep up the music making. And good luck on the competition!

ahahaha, thanks man. I usually get a hard time for using too much distortion but it's nice to see someone encourage it for a change. Also: tritones ftw.

im very impressed with this track everything is top notch. the vocals, creepy effects and haunting piano not to mention the drums. well done it envoked the feeling of the art piece.

This is defenatly one of my favorites for the A.I.M competition! It's so dark and crazy. This song really makes me never want to meet that frotsy woman, it would scare me to death! haha! I am a fan of dissonance so the vocals in there makes the song very interesting!

Coool! Really nice creepy feel you have created here. Maybe the voice could have a longer part, because it just sounds nice. Overall pretty interesting! I am glad you still decided to go on and submit yours. 5/5 from me
