"Moons, give us your blessing"-Fina, Skies of Arcadia

Big kudos to those who've played or have at least heard of the game mentioned above. The quote comes from one of my favorite Special Moves that Fina does (Lunar Blessing). The intro of this song is based around the sound of the spell being cast (I just added bells). It gives your characters regenerative status, which is the reason behind the title of this song!

A month or so ago, I was feeling sick, and decided to make a song that could have some healing value. I can't remember if I started with the electric piano solo or the pads first, but I just let my fingers put down some chords, and I just fell in love with the sound.

Getting the drums probably took the most time, but I managed to handpick some good samples to use in Impulse. As a fan of smooth jazz I wanted to make a set that complemented that. I had a snare that I was curious to know whether or not I'd actually use it, so I went on and decided to make a new segment (the 10 BPM faster spot after the first half of this song).

As for the lead synth Tron Lead, I almost thought it wouldn't be a seriously good one to use until I heard a similar synth used in one of Garoad's old (and now nowhere to be found) cyberpunk tunes, and thought maybe it would be okay to experiment with it. Turns out to have been a great choice, as it seems to give the song an overall more vintage/classic feel.

Anyway, hope you'll enjoy this as much as I have.

I've learned to overcome the limits of Live Lite, I think and improve on making better quality music. This song has many firsts in it, such as only having about half the song created in session mode, and mastering the song in an uncompressed form.
