Thi is my A.i.m. Contest's entry, based on the awesome art called Cnyght from Xephio!

I actualy imagined this guy as an android hunting down his enemies with an elecro-blade and a trusty revolver-themed handgun.

Sound: Decent mixing over all, the bass ends could use some work.

Composition: Decent structure, however the song did start sounding repetitive near the end. However I do love your use of sounds. It is deliciously grungy and dark.

Fit to Art: Here's where I think your song lacks. As a standalong song, it works wonderful. However paired with the art, I think it lacks in conveying the feel of the robot/cyborg depicted within the art.

Originality: Nothing too new here, actually kind of sounds like another DnB type piece.

Ending thoughts: A nice stand alone track, maybe less repetition though.

Deshiel responds:

I understand that the track is difficult to pair with the designed art to some people.
That is why I described the idea behind the composition in the description.

The music is based on the art, but is actualy depicting the protagonist in a certain situation.

Thank you for your review, even tho its your job. ;D

The dynamics in this are really good, it sounds kinda like a boss fight. The mixing is good. I like the darkness to this track, it really compliments the futuristic hi tech warrior from the artwork. My only complaint is that it gets repetitive especially with the constant squeeky blooping...haha well that sounds weird to say but I think you may know what I mean. It's a constantly used sample. Also I felt the drums could've used some variation at parts of the song but good for what they are. I felt there could've been some change-ups but overall good work here.

Deshiel responds:

I ended up having a creativity block after I spent a great deal of time in the mastering of the 70% of the track. I was unable to imagine any sort of continuality and because of the time given to the mastering (new samples would force me to start mastering from scratch) I should have taken a simple break and return to it later, but something in me pushed me into completing the track.

that overspam of the "squeeky blooping" was my filler solution for my fear of adding something else.

Thanks for your review ReelFriction ;D

Damn dude, I loved how dark this was. Really feeling the industrial vibes dude. Those bleepy acid trance stab sounds were perfect. I know the point of industrial isn't supposed to be clean but I felt like if there was anything this song could have benefitted from it was slightly better mixing. Aside from that it's a really sick track. I love it dude.

So dark :3

Deshiel responds:

I'm still bad at filltering bass ;D
