Oh my gosh...

All I can say is, wow. I played the first part of this song on a game on Hallpass and it's very neat, so I decided to check out the MP3. The mix with the Guitar and the Piano makes it a great track to listen to. I don't know if it's one of the best, considering I partially agree with Kor-Rune, but I really think that this is one of the best MP3s I've ever listened to.

Great job putting this together! Keep up the good work!

I don't see where the immense hype about these songs comes from.

It's just a bunch of collected repetitive riffs, really. The drums are generic and redundant, and there is no bassline or lower frequencies to help this song keep an interesting background rhythm. It sounds empty, or unfinished.

With two lead instruments and no backing, it just makes the song very void. But hey, whatever you did, you got the masses to enjoy it. Maybe it was the concept, or the guitar hook. I don't know. It just doesn't have a sense of life to it to me.

Goukisan responds:

Well, it's quite a simple song I'll give you that. I made the original version of it years ago. Basically the idea was to make the two instruments sound like they were 'battling' but at the same time sound good together.

I'm not sure why this is as popular as it is either, I guess there are a lot of people besides me who like this kind of music.
