A contest where you make a song, inspired by an art piece from NG.
For this, I chose "Flame Man" by azelinus. The original art can be found here: http://www.newgrounds.com /art/view/azelinus/flame-
man
I was randomly browsing mech-related art for some reason (probably because there were some Neon Genesis Evangelion stuff on mein tumblr's dashboard), when I saw this art piece.
It looked like something the army would come up with to use in wars, I guess.
And I thought, "just imagine if this thing went rogue, or if one were to face against this in the battlefield".
And here we are, with the finished piece, and with me typing and filling the description with a bogus story or something.

Solid drums. Very solid.. The synth line is kind of out there but hey it works.
Brownie points of a solid Reese Bass.
yay brownies

Pretty badass man. Lots of nice dnb elements like that swishy bass. Ofc you're going to get 0 bombed because retards. 4/5 for rating because the crashes confused the transitions. BUT regardless of that it actually compliments the artwork. I can imagine the scenery(factory, robots shooting flame guns indiscriminately at inanimate objects lol)
Getting 0-bombed is a normal thing in the daily life of an audio-submitting Newgrounder.
Those aren't really crashes, but steam-pressure-emission-release-thingy samples I stole off Freesound

I dig it! I like that the drums sound real, unlike most DnB fare. Also, it matches the piece perfectly!
real drums all the way
