This is a remake of an 8 bit song redone from scratch. Check out Jeffs Theme on youtube to hear the original from the game maniac mansion for the NES if you don't know it by heart all ready.

I think that if people want to make chipstep or chiptune then all they have to do is look at old things. When I looked at the title of this song I didn't recognize the reference, but the minute the melody hit I new exactly what it was. The many hours I had spent doing all possible combinations of characters in that game engraved this melody in my head. I believe that this song should go a little faster but I do like that this song has some glitchy fading out moments that pull the idea that Jeff was a geek who would be making this kind of music. If they remade the game today this song would fit the theme perfectly if it was a little faster.
The little simple things in life make such a difference.
