A night to remember indeed, my friends.
A boy was harassed.
A girl was given a medal.
And an announcer was kind of a dick.

This is literally the worst thing I have done, ever.

For a competition, thrown together in about 15 minutes due to lack of time. The writing is shit, the voices are shittier, and the mixing is the epitome of shit itself.

But hey! May as well submit something.

Tell me what you think! (please don't I'll cry)

*"A Night to Remember" because a boy was sexually harassed (scarring him forever [he was also molested before and after]) and this man does not belong working with children.
No one shall ever forget.

"The Spelling Bee" by Himynameisjacob***************3rd

Acting- 50/50
Range- 24/25
Fit- 25/25
Mixing- 18/20
Originality- 14/15
Writing- 10/15
TOTAL- 141/150

Comments: My favorite voice by far is the first kid. I could just see some little snot-nosed retard standing up there. This whole recording was very well rounded. The biggest thing I would fix is that it sounds like you used sound removal because there is a slight distortion to your audio. On a writing standpoint, I can see that it could be a night to remember but I didn't get that the theme was central to your entry.

Jacob responds:

Man, so I lost up to five points on how well I fit the theme?
And to think two more points would have won me the contest!
But I'm not complaining. It was a last minute submission, and I like to think I did pretty well.

Thanks a load for hosting this competition!
It was a great experience, and the introduction for me to an even greater community.

Absolutely excellent! I got some genuine laughs out of that, which in this day-and-age, is quite rare.

5/5

Jacob responds:

Thanks a lot for the review!
I wasn't sure how the writing was, so your review did a lot for me.
Hopefully the judges agree!

Thanks again, gorgeous. <3

Ahahaha oh that was great!

Wow didn't know you had such a talented voice for these kind of things. Got a good chuckle out of it too. Keep up the good work!

I believe the script isn't crap but it does make me feel... Awkward.. Hahaha! This is the WORST thing you've ever done?! Ok, you're making me hate you! The voices are distinct, with the exception on Patrick and Johnny though. They seemed to sound very similar except that Johnny has a bit of a certain accent. For some reason, Emma reminds me of SpongeBob. I really like Ricky Jackson's voice, it justifies its role perfectly. Yeah, perhaps it would be better that the background music is a bit louder and the script longer but, what the hell... It is still pretty good. Thumbs up!

Jacob responds:

Yeah, the issue with Patrick and Johnny is that they're both young boys at a spelling bee - so you can't really make them too different.
But I did what I could. If you heard them back to back it would be easy to tell them apart, so that's good enough for me! Haha

Thanks for the review. <3
