I decided to try my hand at chiptune composition and here is what came out of that. I put it in the chip-step category because there wasn't really a straight up 'chiptune' genre. I hope you like it!

This music is great, and the perfect length for my next animation. Would you mind if I used this in an upcoming cartoon featuring a dragon and a pixie?

Really like the overall upbeat and happy feeling this track gives, kind of reminds me a lot of a song I made a few months ago (especially considering we both use a non-traditional chiptune beat), but although it's just a simple chiptune composition I felt quite engaged with the song. I only wish it was longer! Good job on your audio, you should try your hand at some more chiptune, maybe next time add more layers to your track (implementing a strong bass can do wonders). Can't wait to hear more from you!

Hey, thanks for the review!

I may end up extending this song, but I just started working on a new one which will implement some dubstep elements as well. I may upload a WIP version to get some feedback, and if I do, I'd love to hear what you think. (It will have much more bass, haha)

Really like the way the different instruments build in within the first 20 seconds. I feel like this is what plays in a squirrels head as it zips from tree to tree. Now make it longer!

It's only short because I just wanted to experiment with genre, but I may make a more song-like version some time if people end up liking this.
