This is a cinematic ambient soundtrack. Not sure how to describe it. You be the judge.

I'm not sure how to describe it but I love the atmosphere it paints. It's complex, unresolved, but still has a "well defined" feeling. The percussion that kicks in just after 1:50 causes a sudden sharp increase in volume in the higher frequencies, which kinda hurt my ears. I'm sure part of the blame goes to my earbuds - my good headphones are broken. Also, the piece has a bit too much simple repetitiveness. So it's not quite perfect. 4.5 stars for you. :)

XayberOptix responds:

Thank you for your observation and review on this piece. I agree that it is complex and unresolved. I guess "mind waves" can relate to dreams in that they have no beginning and no ending. :)

If you were going for a futuristic style scene, think Tron or something along those lines, then I say you've succeeded quite well. Of course this is based upon that presumption, because for the life of me I can't think of what else this would fit with. That may be me being narrow minded of course, but I can't say that for sure.
On the whole this song is good, it feels like it would fill a scene well, a scene where if you left out music it would feel empty, such as chase scenes and/or suspenseful "what's going to happen" moments.

XayberOptix responds:

When I started on this piece, I really had no clue on where it was going or what it would sound like until it was done. :) To me, it sounds like a bunch of lingering fragments of sounds trying to find their final destination--as if that makes any sense. LOL! Thanks for your thoughts on this!
