So this storm rolled through last night and I took the opportunity to record it. I got some beautiful booms and claps (no pun intended, I think...), lots of driving rain and some rather ominous, almost animalistic groans in the very last rumble before the song fades completely away. I think it sounds like a dragon in the sky, roaring as it flies away, but that's just me. Tell me what you hear in the storm, if you catch anything worth noting!
But on to the song:

I wanted the storm to almost be kind of an instrument itself, which is why it's quite overpowering at times, and you'll notice the heavy claps start getting closer and closer to the first downbeat as the song progresses, whereas they start off as off-beat rumbles here and there. I really am proud of that subtle evolution, it's intriguing to me for some reason.

There will be vocals added to this song. I have lyrics written already and will hopefully get them recorded...sometime before the next millenium lol. Sorry, guys, I know I keep saying I'm doing a lot of shit, then I don't post anything for like 6 months, so just try to be patient and I'll make sure you're the first to know about anything new.
