Teq pretty much covered everything.
Spawn has to win this for his lyrics,
but it would have been even better if he had the showmanship of Animosity.
you mean the way he dissed me before i even knew who the fuck he was? quite some showmanship

I think Chaotic's strong points are a good flow and great energy. His bars were good, but his first verse was crammed with generics, and no biting personals. He realized he fucked up and had a stronger second verse.
War Spawn had a shit ton of personals, good flow, but lacked the energy Chaotic brought. However, personals are huge in rap battles, and Spawn always comes with lots of them. Personals, combined with mic presence/flow are basically the only things I judge a battle by. Chaotic had the better mic presence, while Spawn brought the personals.
This battle was definitely a clash of styles, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Buuut, coming with more energy in a battle wins points from me; just makes the other emcee seem more into it *in most cases.
Too bad Chaotic didn't do his homework (which he, for some crazy reason, arrogantly stated in his intro) and wasted his first verse, while Spawn tore him up throughout the entire battle. Chao's energy cannot make up for his lack of personals and underestimating his opponent. His second verse seemed like an "oh shit, I made a mistake, better fix it" type deal, and most of those personals were still quite lacking imo.
War Spawn with a convincing win. He rode his beat well, and steadily threw hard jabs at Chaotic.
I'm still a fan of both of you guys, so don't take offense to my review, Chao. I just think Spawn came with all the tools to win, and was underestimated by his opponent. Considering the recent history these 2 have, I expected a lot more from Chaotic, even without doing research for real.
Still a good listen, so props to both. I'm dl'ing this fo sho.

Warspawn won this, had much more humorous punchlines and references, like, the start of the second verse made me laugh hard the first time I heard it. Chaotic had some decent lines and flips, but he even said he didn't do any research basically so that was obviously pretty costly, and came with quite a bit of filler.
