I bring you yet another track from my new mixtape.. This one is about the life and times in Corporate America and what it can do to ya. Ive somewhat experienced this, but not to the same effect as Ive seen others. Lots of pressure sometimes... Lemme know your thoughts..

Props to Caine Snow on the beat!

Lyrics:
Hook:
It went a rye, when I was lie to and all was compromised
I was set aside, victimized and coldly chastised
Why did they pry and ploy? tell me why!
Tell me, tell me now, it was foul, a surprise

Verse 1:
Everyone in corporate thinks their important
Incorporating new rules on the reg, distorting
Using their force, making our days more bureaucratic
making me fed up with my role, so that ive bout had it
/no day is static, its always make this deadline
make it in time, better find the unemployment line
Better mind manners, ya better mind your and
Yea right, almost nothing there is ethical, ands Ill prove
/i was enamored; I was captivated by the life
I love every minute at corporate, everything would suffice
I made it up to vice president, I thought it was heavenly
At first it was, but then I realized my morals were in jeopardy
/cuz at work everything had better improve the stock price
Cant make ya quotas, then ya better devise a heist
I was in a vice, i was seriously staring at a dilemma
Cuz either decision I made would make my life dimmer

Verse 2:
/I advised, led, I made sure people were fed
I gave em clothes, ensured they were intact, but instead
I was demoted, left hopeless, credibility was hacked
I interacted with the higher ups, but now I restarted my track
/my track in life was to be humble, helpful, a leader
one to provide meaning and hope, not to be demeaned or
Taken advantage of, this is a mantra, my song
Omg. What the fuck happened, now im the fallen
/now im the one needing assistance. What is this?
I was persistent every moment, now im seen as shifty
Im seen as iffy, not one to put any faith in
I use to have crowds of friends but now im forsaken
/my life is vacant, my home and heart are empty
Thinking to grab this gun out the shelf is tempting
I had so much but now I even have crumbs
I know if I should keep going or simply succumb

That was awesome. Loved the subject matter too. As Ted said in 'Ted', "America is imploding."

The reason I gave this a 4.5 instead of a 5 is because in a couple places the vocals are sometimes hard to make out. Other than that and the fact that you could've fixed my fade-in error, this track was awesome. Keep it up mang! :)

KlazikNadi responds:

this was a mouthful of lyrics, believe me.. no worries on the 4.5, thats still a legit score! glad ya liked! corporate not too bad, but ive worked in some somewhat shady organizations.. Keep up the tunes man!
