For me this is quite the experiment. I've never really written anything solely electronic before, but as my experiences are growing in number and variety, and my ideas, too, I decided it was worth a shot to try and make something out of the norm for me. I didn't shoot for any particular genre or another; I just went and put to notes whatever came to mind.

And so, I'm left with "Experiment." I think it came out rather nicely for what it's worth, and I hope you think so, too.

I started moving in my chair almost immediately once this started playing... this reminds me of Halo when I listen to it. I love the break at 2:07... and although I am not a dubstep fan, I really enjoyed it at 2:31... the music set it up for me to like it. 3:58 piano ending works because of everything before, but I did think the ending was a little slow... I'm sure if this was part of a loop, you would mix everything before really ending at 3:58...but even then I think it was too slow.

Great job.

Very interesting. I imagine this could be used as in-game background music for an 8-bit of some sort. But I really like your synths and the variety of things you tried.
Very intricate. I think you could make very interesting tracks. Especially with the the dubstep break towards the end. you really have something going there. (:
5/5!

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!

I'm glad you enjoyed the music. Variety was a key idea in creating this as I wanted to try as many new things in a rather short track without making it too much of a clutter.

Intricacy was really fun to put together! All the tiny little details, variations, every build up, putting together the synths, both lead and those floating in the background, was all really fun and I'm happy that you feel it came out well!

Again, thanks so much. I didn't expect as positive of a reaction from this piece as it's my first foray into what is wilderness to me. Thank you!
