Newgrounds is a great place to find new contacts. So this happened to me when I came across the composition "Mayhem Market" by Nick Standing aka Jabun who appeared to be quite a talented guitarist. He gladly accepted my offer to work on a joint project and after a week of collaboration we are happy to introduce to you "Mountains of Gold". Working on this piece was a new experience for both of us and a whole lot of fun. We hope we've produced something that'll give you as much joy listening as we had making it!

It sounds fantastic. Great job, to both of you. It's got a really good adventure-like feel too it, as though something big is about to happen. Most of all, though, it takes me back to when I was younger. It makes me feel like I'm running through the Overworld of a Final Fantasy game.
The guitar wasn't overwhelming as it tends to be in most arrangements and fit perfectly in with the other instruments. The String Instruments of the Orchestra are probably my favorite parts to the song. The really drive the feeling home.
I could sit here all day and write a review on how much I enjoy listening to this song, but that doesn't serve a purpose for any of us.
Nonetheless, 5/5, 10/10, however you want to call it. Great work, simple perfection to me. I can't think of much that you could do to improve this composition.

Unfortunately, I'm not a console gamer myself. But this is really great if the piece we produced actually gives you such feelings. It was a challenging task to blend acoustic guitar and orchestra together and I'm not sure if I can ever repeat the success but everything's possible. We already have a piece in mind that you might enjoy when it's done. Wish us luck, then! :)

Wow this is great music since this type of music is hard to make. So keep it up!

Man, this blew me the hell away. I have no crits or advice, I enjoyed every second of it.

Astounding, I had grown so used to Newgrounds audio being completely techno, electronic, house, etc. Then this comes along and cuts down my expectations with remarkable string work. The feeling of adventure is just so powerful that I would go as far as to say that it would belong in The Lord of the Rings. Thank you so much for sharing.

Actually, I have to disagree on the point of Newgrounds being more about electronic music. I've been here for what seems like a couple of months and I already know there are some really great orchestrators. But maybe it's just my perception :) Thank you for reviewing, it means a lot for me and Nick!
