I finally got round to recording with the SM27 I got for Christmas! Just a little soundtracky piece that sprung to mind. Imagine playfully racing through a crowed fantasy market with a good friend, rival or the love of your life, perhaps being chased by some half-wit bad guys or the fuzz! If I could do this as my job, I would be sooo happy XD

So xIIInon sent me this way and I'm glad he did as this song really is terrific! It does sound a little empty at first maybe but I really like how it manages to grow into something a lot bigger towards the end.

Jabun responds:

Hehe XD Oh my good friend xIIInon! Cheers for all the comments. I'm really glad you liked it :D

You know, you totally deserve the mike. And keep on doing more of this stuff, because as the experience shows this type of music is really popular among the soundtrack lovers. You did well with the guitar party and the orchestration is very nice. I loved it. The downside is... If you paid just a little more attention to the drums, I think it would be p.e.r.f.e.c.t. You just use the same "ta-da" rhythmic pattern every now and then while you need to bring more different elements and percussion to make it sound fresh throughout the whole composition. Just do not overuse the pattern. It sounds almost professional. Liked. Followed.

Jabun responds:

Thanks for the comments. Fair shout about the drums. I put a couple of fills in, but i didn't want them to take up too much of the excitement, just the low-end energy (Band drums are alot easy to write for XD). I'm still getting used to arranging the orchestra (especially the wind section), but time and practice will make it better. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'm glad you think I deserve the mic. It is an absolute beauty XD
