Dawn Of A New Era

As a Brit, and a person more than acquainted with the papacy, I'm going to give my honest two pence.

1) Mixing is horrible. The choirs sound fake, dry and synthesised. Good choirs are one of my weak spots, and I am a singer myself -- (yes, I sing plainchant and hymns too). There is no volume modification between the notes, everything sounds just about the same loudness.

2) The section beyond the intro is out of tune, severely out of tune. It doesn't suggest someone's rise to the throne, it suggests a clown in a circus, and heck, ZipZipper nails this stuff more than you did in this piece.

3) When the drums kick in and when everything kicks in, it doesn't suggest Brit Pop, it suggests DNB. Having listened to S Club, Dido, Little Mix and people along their vein, THAT is what Brit Pop is. This is nothing like Brit Pop.

4) Whenever you talk about the dawning of a new era, you either make it beautiful and glorious, or sinister and menacing. (I would go for the former). You didn't even nail your piece to fit the description, and so, I will gladly nail the Summorum Pontificum to your door.

Even if this were a parody, like what it seems to be, the bad mixing makes it a very poor parody. I won't even go to mention the length at all, because I was completely turned off by what I heard.

This very well may be the most unintentionally hilarious thing someone has ever written as a reaction to one of my songs. You even mentioned Brit Pop. Unbelievable.
