I hope you enjoy, your feedback is appreciated! The opening instrument is a little lo-fi but I hope you'll bear with it. It grew on me. :x

And now for something completely different (for me, at least). I'll call this ambient breakbeat but it can fit in a few different places. Going under Ambient for now; if you would like to suggest a more appropriate subgenre here on NG go ahead. :3

While my next "main" DnB track is in the works (it's been delayed indefinitely. Not happy about this, but such things happen with collabs.) I've churned this little dilly out. It's inspired by the soundtrack to the Disney animated short "Paperman" (you can find the whole thing on YouTube!). It has strings, piano, beats, and what I consider to be my most pleasant mix/mastering job so far.

I like the rhythm. I just wanna suggest to put a base guitar. I really wanna hear it with that kind of instrument. Mail me please if you did.

Alloud responds:

Thanks. :3
The bass is just a nice smooth sine-based one... I have no intentions to use a real/virtual bass guitar unless a track calls for really funky basslines (ala Hideki Naganuma), which this doesn't really. So I won't be adding one here. Sorry!
