I just got hold on a load of world instruments' sample from some fellow musicians. In these hundreds of samples, I caught myself enjoying some Chinese and Japanese instruments, and I decide to create a song using them.

I know little about Chinese music, even though I got the references from Kung fu Panda. I have dug around and deciding that Western orchestra instruments are best to mix with these wonderful ethnic sounds; such as the violin and the erhu. I also got the inspiration from maestro dem0lecule.

You are welcome to give feedback, I love them! I care about feedback more than the score or visit. I take time to read your review/feedback ;).

Once It started to get there at :53 It became really good.
The middle sequence was great, very well done, and your right the violins sounded very nice with the Oriental instruments.
I would like to hear deeper drums and a ending that does not star so soon at 2:38. The ending and beginning are the same and I can understand why any artist would do so in a piece. I can just imagine it differently for this.

KatMaestro responds:

It's not a well crafted piece. I just ran out of good ideas to continue on, so I let the ending be like this. Drum is just basic orchestra bass drum, although I thought of using timpani previously. Yeah, it has a slow build-up, I'm probably going to shorten the beginning.

Thank you for your feedback a lot :-).
