I lied... I said I was going to release only full length songs... but...I got some good advice from someone on the Audio portal about mixing/mastering. I wanted to share my effort at taking their advice.

Tell me what you think! Does it sound better and cleaner than most of my other recordings? Please do let me know, and thanks for listening to my jams.

0:26 :((( :P
are you going to full length songs in future? or only such samples?

jaysummers759885 responds:

I want to make full length songs. I am working at it now. I think that what stops me is the production process. It is very precise, and involved. My only wish is that I have the knowledge, and advice of those willing to help to achieve good production while still producing the artistic expression needed to bring my ideas to life. I feel like I am failing at the production side of things, and I don't know how much longer I will be able to create music with my hands so expressively. It truly is an oxymoron. I will continue to try none the less until I die. I am sorry that I can not produce full length songs as you might wish, but I promise that I will continue to try my best to do so.

I like this.
The mix sounds pretty good on my headphones, can't listen on my monitors yet.
It doesn't loop well though, even though you're using Ableton Live (Right?)
In the arrangement view, you can click and drag an area and right click, and choose "Loop selection"
then on export, choose export as loop.

Oh, and the composition was cool as well. Very hesitant and dark.

jaysummers759885 responds:

Thanks for checking it out! I am using Krystal Audio as an external editor. I haven't used Ableton for looping and such yet. I will have to maybe look into the tutorials about the arrangement view. I only use the session view as of now.
