This soundscape piece is inspired by the ocean. I was going to something that was relaxing, but had a subtle, unnerving undertone; as if you were floating on the open ocean with no knowledge of what lies beneath you. There are a few nods to other composers in the piece as well. I very subtle nod to the music of Bioshock when it comes to style...and a not so subtle nod to the "Scarborough Fair". I am most proud of my instrumentation which includes: Wine glasses, detuned recordings of birds (The "whale" sound), a few metallic sweep pads, recordings of a river, repitched to ultra-low frequencies, and more! I hope you enjoy; as always, rate, comment and favorite!
