Full title: "Game Gear Sonic 2- Good Ending Credits Piano"

Here is a piano/electronic remix of the ending BGM of the good ending credits from the Game Gear version of Sonic 2.

Ended up having to sequence this song from scratch on my own, this time. It took several days, mainly as I am not very familiar with the source tune (How many people actually have managed to get a perfect game on the Game Gear version of Sonic 2?). Fortunately, I didn't have to remake this tune completely on my own. A good friend was kind enough to help debug my MIDI sequence.

Hmmmmm. It's good. It's quite good. But it feels less... punctual than the original, if I could use that vernacular.

While the original sounded a might bit simpler, and thus easier to really process all of the sounds, it actually took me until about the 30 second mark in your version to get fully into it. The piano works for what ails it, but it almost entirely drowns everything else out to a point. It's about as good as you can get it for a piano remix, but I still think the percussion could've been mildly stronger, and the background piano could've been a touch weakened.

In my opinion, I find the good ending theme in the Game Gear version of Sonic 2 to be a bit lacking. It's generally not that memorable and it doesn't seem to be talked about as much as it's bad ending counterpart. When assembling this track, I really wanted to dial down the percussion as I didn't want it to be overpowering. As for the backup instruments, lowering them more than I did just didn't seem to work.

At any rate, thank you for much this good and quite thorough review! :)
