I don't think another piece has brought me as much of a headache as this one... constant tech issues, mixing difficulties, and more made this perhaps one of my most irksome works. However, I somehow managed to finish this at a respectable length. :D

This is my entry for the Bosa contest. Although I am helping run it, I have no part in the voting and Bosa even told me I had better enter, so yeah.

This piece is made to compliment The Kingdom. Unlike Kingdom, however, the focus was not on a steady tempo, but on a steady piece- effective transitions in a long work.

The ending of the piece isn't exactly what it was supposed to be... for some reason, Finale didn't like the huge amount of noise and cut out some voices no matter how many ways I exported it and worked with it. :/

The singers are actually saying stuff, although it's virtually impossible to tell what... Here are the 'lyrics':
And to the king of mighty lands now rule,
his reign shall last for all of time.

It was a dark day full of terror,
none did think it would ever come,
but in the shadows he was lurking,
our end of days now had come.

We live in peace now and forever,
not a fear known,
the war is now long over,
let peace be known.

Let peace be known.

Great work sam I love your transitioning
and the ending was satisfying

Thanks, I'm glad the transitions came out okay! They were my biggest concern in this piece.

Well, you managed to make something kickass again... lots of dynamics and change ups in emotions. It has a the "Samulis" feel to it :P It has a few repeating themes which I really enjoyed. I don't really have any complaints. The only thing I would say. IF ANYTHING, is to maybe let the song go on a little bit longer so the bells or whatever sustained instruments were playing would ring out a bit more. It sort of just cut out the ringing abruptly. Yeah that's the littlest bit of feedback i can give haha, nice work man. And good luck in the contest :D

samulis responds:

Hehe, yeah... At that point I was pretty much fed up with trying to export the finale... :/

Thanks for the review, man! Good luck with your entry.
