Like said in the other version; I can never decide.
The piece is definitely ripe for either direction!
Also reiterated; the music itself is fantastic.
And youre piano tones are perfect for this style- gotta love it.

What rubbish. How revolting.

Just kidding... I hope I'm reviewing the correct song, but even if I'm not, I must say that you are truly impressive. You know how to affect emotion in your music, and that is a sought after gift for any type of musician (most dudes don't realize what a great quality that is to have). I can feel the emotion in your sequencing/playing style, and it immersed me into a story that only I could think of.

Something keeps bothering me though. I could have sworn I judged a different song than this. I mean, this is the right song.. but it seems different than the one I judged. Oh well. I may be so daft that I'm missing something quite obvious, I don't know. I'm absent.

But anyways, the only things that caused me slight discomfort was the instrument quality. I know it's piano, but I felt as though it was being played on an electronic keyboard. Not such a big deal, but it would've been nice to have heard a live recording of your piano performance.

Otherwise, good show. The emotional effect was this song's greatest strong point. But DANG I feel like I'm reviewing the wrong song for some reason. Oh well.

That's cause you are reviewing the wrong one, this is the piano only version. ;3

The version I submitted to the contest was submitted right before this one.

But regardless... yeah... I can't play this live, I played the base of it, but then added stuff as necessary to fill it out, cause I'm not that great of a pianist and can only play so much at a time. But the samples are from a real piano... although I'll admit I probably didn't humanize quite enough to really give it a live performance feel... cause I'm really bad a humanizing.

Regardless... glad you liked it!
