This here is my entry for the Dreams of Splendor contest being run by Bosa over on the Audio Forum.

A little different than my usual, also the most complicated (and hard to play) piano part I've done yet.

I think that this song is a true work of art. I love this song and will download it and listen to it forever... this song could be used in any movie and it would put the movie to shame... in fact... it would make the movie enjoyable!

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

I'm flattered!

5 stars, easy. I dunno bout all the comments man. I think what they are trying to say is this track is ... freaking epic! Period. Most of your stuff is, btw. I find your music very moving and inspirational. I've been thiking for sometime to maybe write some ultra cool guitar solo and add it upon one of your pieces. Maybe this one? With your permission, of course.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Glad to hear. And go for it, be sure to let me know if you do so, I'd love to hear it!

This is really good. The build up is subtle but still leads to a natural transition into the plateau of the song. I also like the quiet synth in the back for that duration, which sticks out in spite of a relatively low volume as being the one obviously electronic element. The rest of it sounded very natural, and the synth slipped right in without being disruptive. Top notch stuff.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Thanks for the review! Glad you liked it!

I would say that this is certainly a piece that matches the definition of what Dreams of Splendor is about.
Your piano skills have certainly gotten pretty good and I thoroughly enjoyed the song. Certainly going to download it!
Thank you for the wonderful song!
