Made for Bosa's Dreams of Splendor contest, where the only criterion is that you make your best song ever for the contest.

Very many thanks to SkyeWintrest and Step for large amounts of feedback.

The sound quality isn't very good but you can download a full quality version here for whatever price you want (that includes nothing):

It is apparent, even without your touting, that this is the product of an immense amount of work. The sound design is fantastic, and it's got your trademark "chill" vibe. And it managed to stay interesting for the entire 9 minutes, which is no small feat, especially when you're dealing with a guy with an average post-80s attention span.

Personally I prefer music with a more definitive lead melody... so to me "Depths of Phendrana" or "Solace" would still be your best song. But still, I think this instantly becomes one of your milestone pieces here, just by its sheer sophistication and delicacy.

Buoy responds:

Hoity touty yeah sorry about that, gotta lil carried away and had to make a point I guess. Thanks for the review and especially your continued support, so good to know I have some actual regular listeners.

Excellent song! It is just top quality. I can't find any faults, it just flows like a river.
The instruments are beautiful and clear. You're a great musician, thats all I can say.

Buoy responds:

Thankss. I appreciate it a lot!

After finally getting round to hearing this, it's hard to imagine you NOT winning the competition. Awesome work, man. It's not often you hear stuff as ambitious as this on Newgrounds.

Ah man, this works out as one of the greatest BG tracks for work. I love how varied and almost progressive this is.

Great work, and good luck in the contest!

Buoy responds:

Heh yup, aaalmost progressive, still just prog I guess, it's progress but I digress! Thanks!!
