Cypherpunk is a person who uses cryptography to make changes in politic, to protect privacy and freedom. Example of notable cypherpunks are Julian Assange, Philip Zimmermann, Jacob Appelbaum, Bram Cohen and my roommate, m0le.

As a cypherpunk, I have been dedicating my life in several projects in the past and current such as Freenet, P2P, proxy, anti DRM/dongle, Tor and in heavily development of a new cryptology system with m0le.

I think it would be awesome to compose a song about these gamechangers in our technology life.

Please leave feedback if you may. Thanks.

Hey Elitistinen! This is totally mind blowing. I can only wish if I could do something like this. I only miss some "whoosh" sounds here and there to give it more dramatic impact and better ending. But this is how I feel which is my taste, however certainly a great piece.

Thanks for the mention. Correction, I 'was' your roommate.

Your drum work never ceases to amaze me. The arps isn't less amazing. The only complain is the middle part is quite long.

KatMaestro responds:

Oh yes, wait until you got drafted and then return to my mother's basement in Etobicoke. And we'll be the best roommates again! Kidding.

I agree, the middle part is quite long.

Fantastic intro. Very interesting to listen to. You build the song in a subtle way that really allows the listener to immerse themselves in a different kind of world, if just for a few minutes. The classical portions such as the strings and brass blend nicely into the chip-like electronic notes. They make for a unique environment for sure. I get a Deux Ex vibe from this song, such as when you try to hack something. Awesome stuff!

If there's anything I would recommend, it's that you use more variation with the elec. synth, it feels as if it just repeats the same three to four notes a little too often. Though, that's not to say that it is a bad thing necessarily, as you don't overlay it through the entire song. Which leads me to say that the mixing you've done is great!

I really like this piece, keep it up! :)
