alright so i might be a little late for this, but i saw the acapella and went nuts, its simple right now cause i did it kinda quick, but i was really just working on my skills at making beats around vocals.
let me know what you think so i can improve on them, i definitely want to and WILL come back to this and change what you think needs to be changed, just let me know, thanks.

Wow, i would say I'm anything but big into hip hop but this was something so perfectly old school! I couldn't help but bob my head and tap my foot to this. I would agree with Mickey in that it lacked anything extensively interesting instrumentally throughout vocal breaks, specifically at around 1:50. Its at that point where the song for me gets most emotional, describing the lack of compassion for Jones should come with a very sad tone during the break, but you chose to use the bass drum sound and that symbol (I think its a symbol). Honestly I'm going to give you a 5 because I really loved this and it was quite difficult for me to find something I thought you could work on. So my hats of to you sir!

This is dope. I think what you did with the "my main man jones came from a broken home" line; maybe u could've expanded on it in the outro (digital fx, different cuts...etc). The instrumental is simple, but I think it works well. The harpsichordy-piano is a nice touch. I think a humming vocal layer might add some dimension on the intrumental. Overall, nice remix.
