alright so i might be a little late for this, but i saw the acapella and went nuts, its simple right now cause i did it kinda quick, but i was really just working on my skills at making beats around vocals.

let me know what you think so i can improve on them, i definitely want to and WILL come back to this and change what you think needs to be changed, just let me know, thanks.

The beat sounds good, great lyrics of course. My only criticism is the sort of remix on the original with the repetitive line: "My main man Jones came from a broken home..." It happens smack dab in the middle of the track. I just feel that it takes away from the amazing flow the original Mr Jones had.

Why is this rate so lowly is amazing?

Wow, i would say I'm anything but big into hip hop but this was something so perfectly old school! I couldn't help but bob my head and tap my foot to this. I would agree with Mickey in that it lacked anything extensively interesting instrumentally throughout vocal breaks, specifically at around 1:50. Its at that point where the song for me gets most emotional, describing the lack of compassion for Jones should come with a very sad tone during the break, but you chose to use the bass drum sound and that symbol (I think its a symbol). Honestly I'm going to give you a 5 because I really loved this and it was quite difficult for me to find something I thought you could work on. So my hats of to you sir!
