A different style from the depths of The Forge, "Rogue Orbit" is a badass and cold soundtrack to a trip from one side of the universe to the other. I worked incredibly hard on this one, I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings on it, constructive feedback is also highly appreciated.

I like to think of sitting in a single chair on the surface of a small planet that is hurtling through the most remote, extreme, and cosmicly violent areas of the universe, and the listener gets a front-row seat to it all.

Not sure if this is Ambient; (though I'm not really in a position to call that, I'm not hugely familiar with the genre) Newgrounds does have a horribly limited selection of genres, though.

I quite enjoyed this, it has a pretty professional sound to it. It was a little slow for my tastes, and consequently it sounded a little like background music (though it's not really repetitive enough for me to label it as such.)

I like the FX and percussion a lot, and the deep, spacey feel. The name works very well. I'm also enjoying how atmospheric it sounds. In fact, the song is almost entirely atmosphere-based, being driven by the way it feels rather than melodic structure or progression.

I feel as though I should be getting bored, but after I finished listening once (and hadn't finished this review) I hit play again, so I was definitely enjoying it.

This is good, keep it up!

Thanks for the thoughtful response Geoplex! It may not fit perfectly into the Ambient category, but being in strong agreement with your feelings about it being atmospherically-based, I felt it was the best selection. Technically speaking it would probably be ambient breakbeat.

I'm glad you liked it so much! I worked very hard on it, and it is a very complex track. There are barely-perceivable elements elements that come in all over it, and that may have helped keep your subconscious interested, despite your brain thinking that it had "gotten the gist of it," and was coming close to feeling bored.

It was meant to be extremely relaxing, soundtrackey, yet engaging; so it would seem that despite some initial preconceptions, it accomplished its goal! Thanks you again for the great feedback. I quantify my work as "The Soundtrack to My Imagination," so I'm glad you enjoyed listening. :)
