First of all, to CujoFoxtar, this is your request bro, I couldn't yet mix the tracks, so sorry its only the supervisor song from Rise of the Robots, I hope I've done you proud on this one anyway mate. This is a track i never dived into untill I payed more attention to the ost, I made my mix based on the skeleton of the original, but I pumped it out a bit. The old skool 90's synths on the chorus took a lot of time and going through the best synth sounds, the trancy detune sounding is what I've finally ended up with since its similar to the original version aswell. The piano's and piano manipulations, are what I got to do at the top of the mountain, so I made my own extra piano signiture. This took some time, but its still in demo period, so if you have any advise or suggestions, please say in your review. See you soon guys.

First off, let me give you a big "THANK YOU!" from me for taking up my request. Now then, on to the review itself.

+I really like the whole "piano" bit (the main core of the song) - it didn't really feel like a piano at all. It felt a LOT more surreal and... psycho-ambient than you make it out to be.
+The funky beat. I know you probably weren't intending it that way, but the beat sounds like it could come from a Technotronic or Michael Jackson beat (fun fact: did you know a lot of video game music in the early days was inspired by those two groups, among others?)
+The additional bits in this rendition TRULY make the remix feel YOURS. It's what makes this a REMIX, not a cover. And for that, you get points.
-The first flaw comes from the distorted phase at 1:01 and it continues until that particular section of the song ends (although the unique melody you added on the second half of it redeems that somewhat). Because the notes kinda... well, take a screwdriver to my audiosoul and turn it a little, hearing it makes me squirm uncomfortably. I think if you found a way to fix that, this would redeem the mix entirely, and you'd get full marks.

However, because it's only noticeable on certain sections of the song (and only if one pays attention to it), I only nick half a point off.

+/- One section of the song which loops into the first half is missing (it's the second chorus, it sounds kinda like a bass klaxon or something). The song may or may not be better with or without it, but because I haven't seen your take on it, and since the value of the mix isn't really affected by its absence, I don't nick a point.

Your final score is 4.5 - I nicked a point only with the part at 1:01, and only because my ears noticed it so well.

Yo cujo! Cheers for the very constructive review, sorry for the late reply, I've been writing music non stop lately. I'm glad you like my songs early form, i will post this song again when I've really gone over it again, adding the missing second middle eight from the original aswell. If you have any other requests, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Take care bro!
