This is one of my best works i have to say, i spent allot of time on this one. I learned allot of stuff along the way. I hope you enjoy diving into this song like i did making it. =)
As always, if you hear something you don't like please leave a review of what you felt was wrong or could be changed for the better. Any tips and suggestions help, thanks all.
updated: added lowpass to white noise
-boosted mid to 0db
- added slight compression through out the song
-raised the volume of hats
-boosted 8-9k htz to add some crispness to it( hope that doesn't come back to haunt me)
- Added side chain to the bass to hopefully solve the problems addressed in the comments. ( thanks for all the feed back)
Thanks for putting tunnel dive on the front page for best of January. Again, thank you for all the feed back and comments, they really are a key part of how i keep improving myself.

I love it. It sounds amazing. Downloading now. I really like the way the background arp phases in and out behind the square synths. Definitely worth the 5 stars.
Thanks m8.

I have to agree with Sequenced. The bass and kick frequency muddling is something that I have had in some of my previous works, so yes, we've all been there. : )
The feeling I got from this when I first heard it, before the other parts started kicking in, was that I was in this testing facility with smoke in all corners of the room, it was hazy and dark. This is what trance is all about: carrying the listener over in the tide, and having him come up with inspired sequences from that little trance he had.
Keep up the good work!
Ya, im uncertain what to do about that kick and the bass fighting for hertz control. That bass takes up a huge lower range and with out it taking up so much room i lose out on a massive amount of body it gives the song. I might have to learn how to make a decent kick for next time so i can put the hertz where i need them, rather out of the way of everything else. Also thanks, i really got the feel for trance with this song. i'm glad i could take you some where else for a brief amount of time.
Thanks for taking time to leave a comment m8 and ill try to work on mixing better next time.

not bad. you got a good sense of chords, melodies, and timing. all you have to do now is clear up your frequencies. you should cut low freq. for the synths, and pump up the mid freq for your pads and things like that. also, make sure you don't have the bass and the kick on the same frequency. that is generally why a song can sound muffled.
Also, make sure you raise the high frequencies for your hihats and clap/snares. it's hard to hear them.
keep it up.
Ya, i was having a huge problem when eqing the bass with the kicks. i tried moving kick around to make room for the bass, but in the end they over lapped and there wasn't much i could do about it( or knew how rather). in the first uploaded version i had lowered the 50-100 hertz range to solve that problem, but then lost the body of the kick and bass and the mix sounded rather empty. i kinda tossed a coin and raised it back up to give it some body. I actually had to lower allot of the mid as it was too, as it was eating up the entire mix. i added allot of sweeping hertz on the pads that caused allot larger file size than i intended. Also several lover lapping freqs at different times. each would have taken a separate automation to fix but the file size didn't allow me to post it. i have a better mastered version but the file size is 21 mb in mp3. I will most certainly fix the hats and snares and re upload pretty soon. I appreciate the time you took to toss me some advice, its always appreciated and is mainly what has helped me get to where i am right now. I still have a long way to go in several areas, mastering and mixing is the main one. thanks again for taking time to drop a review off and i hope you keep track of my future works. Possibly even drop some feed back on them aswell. =)
