This has a very progressive metal type feel to it. Reminds me a lot of Gojira. Ever since I got into them last year, they have become one of my influences. Now I get to show off that influence with this song. That octave guitar effect is done with Waves GTR, a really nice VST similar to Guitar Rig. I should probably make a song using only GTR someday, to demonstrate what it can do.
Song only took me about 3 hours to do. I'm really considering adding some synth, and orchestra to it.
