I felt like doing something different this time, so I actually tried recording a Twisted Sister song. The harmony vocals were difficult to record. I wanted to get the effect of a bunch of drunk guys singing the chorus at like a house party or something. XDDD The way I did it was, I had my laptop set up at one end of the room, then I went to the other side of the room and sang from a distance at like about 20-30 feet away. I did this 8 times, and stomped my feet/clapped while singing the chorus. Each time I did this, I repositioned myself so I was in a different location of the room, to try and get the effect of distance. Then after all 8 harmony vocal tracks were recorded, I gave each one its own separate pan value, so none of the harmony tracks were balanced the same way stereophonic-wise. Together, the harmony track sounds like what appears to be a party of guys singing, but they're all really just 8 separate recordings of me. As you could probably guess, after recording these vocals, I was VERY out of breath. :P
I also did all the instruments etc.
