Having grown up in North Carolina, I have grown to love sounds and experience of summer storms. The sound as the rain starts pattering against the roof and picks up speed and intensity, the rumble of thunder as it rolls in from a distance, the lightning illuminating the sky periodically; I tried to capture the feeling of a night storm in this song.

This song is the product of 11 hours and 37 minutes of work, spread out over several months. Please take the time to give an honest, constructive review.

epic. immediately i felt as the rain was on my back and lightning streaking across a gray sky with mountains far away. clouds lighting up randomly between over a sort of wasteland spotted with warriors clashing. keep up the good work! this has me feeling invigorated!

I have to say, this is one of the most creative pieces of music I've had the honor of listening to.
The lightning was a nice touch to the rest of the song. It wouldn't be out of place in an epic boss battle, expecially if it is done in a dimly-lit area

Loved it.

The instrumentation is great, and the song isn't repetitive (and isn't incoherent neither), I like how it captures the strong feeling of a storm, BUT it has some calm parts too, the rain and the thunders gives to the song an even more "stormish" feeling to this, the solo part is just amazing.

The only part I didn't like at all is the 2:12-2:43. I'm not sure, but it sounds like if some notes were out of tone... That doesn't sounds totally good = /

A calming yet exciting piece. It had an excellent lead-in and followed through with an equally great middle. The background rain and thunder faded in and out nicely with the rest of the instruments as well as providing that calming factor. It never felt repetitive, as some of your previous songs occasionally do, nor was it too short or too long a song.

However the melody that began around 2:00 was a little too familiar in the sense that it's been used in several previous songs, giving the song the odd feeling that it wasn't really "new". The ending also seemed fairly abrupt and lackluster. Besides that though, another excellent work, it does give the feel of a storm raging on in the night.
