Another dream interpretation. For a while now, I've had a series of dreams, all resulting in my death. Different dreams contain unique ways and reasons for my death. This is one of them.

Damn. that's some kickass sounds you got in there. What are some of the instruments you used? The harshness, yet melody all comes together as a badass, yet soothingly dreary track. Loving the sort of 8-bit possibly 3xosc or wasp you have in there throughout the song too. Goes very well with everything. The song carries a sort of tone of "the end of it all" while the 8-bit sound and beat give it the "Oh, it's not over, not by a longshot." message in it, that is until the end.
Industrial-based music is by-far, if not my favorite, somewhere close to second favorite style of music. There's so much emotion to be had that you just can't access through mainstream and popular music.
5/5 10/10 Keep it up!

Much appreciated.

I can't help but feel like I was born a bit too late. The reason being, I tend to listen to older music. I feel like I should have been around when NIN, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, KMFDM etc. were in their prime and still fresh and exciting. I suppose I hold on to old ideas and try to modernize them and make them relevant.

And it's not that I don't listen to more modern music, my tastes are just a bit nostalgic.

Thanks for the review.

Trent Reznor once said something to the effect of if I can't play something on guitar, I'll just have a computer do that for me.

No guitars in this. But as soon as I get some equipment, there will be.

Thanks man.

"It's getting nice and heavy." We've talked about this one enough for me not to need to repeat everything here. I still could have used more cowbell...er...rhythm guitar, but that's old news as well. I've added this one to your already considerable playlist.

TheHeartgrinder responds:

I pushed FLStudio to its limit. It was sucking up so much CPU that none of the sounds were audible due to static. Also, it wouldn't keep tempo, causing something like a drunken stutter. As cool as that sounds, it just didn't make things better. Although, I may be onto something. Still thinking about multitracking it. Other projects are just as time demanding and I like working on multiple tracks. Its fun to have them borrow from each other. Uniforming the sound I suppose. But it's my uniform.

I wasn't aiming for a Christmas release but that's just the way it turned out. Although, holiday time blues influenced the mood of the song. It turns out that after spending one Christmas in prison will help you appreciate a shitty, yet non group showers Christmas. Oh the things I've taken for granted.
