MrMaestro - Menu

Based upon the quality of these instruments; I'll assume you are currently using either Reason; or some powerful sampler.

This song had the correct "feeling" for a menu;
Nice use of effects; and the part without the percussion was a nice pausing.

It looped nicely with a "Boom---pause---boom"
One of the bad things; was amongst other things that it was a bit repetive; nothing big.
I've done that alot myself as well.

You should have introduced perhaps another lead instrument as well.
Instead of the synth-piano.

DavidOrr responds:

Reason it is, with a smattering of Cubase. Yea with loops you want to stay away from repetition, I should have been a little more careful with that. Perhaps if I ever turn this into a full-length piece I'll add in another melody in counterpoint, I think that would work nicely.

Thanks for the review!

Argh!

Im so sorry if you read the review of the Defcon Zero Review! I was wrighting it for this, but both are just as good just so you know... Sorry. But i love the song! Both of them! Truly Sorry though for the mistake

DavidOrr responds:

haha, don't worry about the mistake, it happens.

Yea, this was featured in the Madness Combat 6 trailer. It's always nice to see my stuff being utilized by flash/game developers.

Thanks for the reveiw and support!

Very nice.

I could definitely see this in the menu of a futuristic FPS of some kind. It loops well and when you first turn it on is kind of loud but hey oh well right? Its a little loud so clarity is affected a little bit so yeah well overall im put this a 9 and im gonna vote 5 on it.

~!~

DavidOrr responds:

Well, the idea was to fit into a futuristic FPS so, I'm glad you could see it being in one.

I realize it is a little loud. For years I always found myself with tracks that were too soft because of my equipment. I am actually a little happy to hear you say it's too loud. Always nice to haer somthing different for a change!

Thanks for the review, I'll try to give your ears a break and soften my next track :).
