now renamed to Blanket Forts And Sports Bars
metaphors are stupid//don't use them
everyone my age is getting pregnant or getting engaged
getting real jobs and updating the status on their facebook page
everyone my age is acting like acting older is synonymous with acting your age
and i'm afraid
because my mind is years behind my body
and my body is years behind my heart
no i don't feel quite as old as i am on the outside
i just need a little TIME
everyone my age is afraid to sleep alone in their own bed
catching up on the new season of the walking dead
the irony hasn't seem to have caught up yet
and everyone my age will be a god damn artist someday
we all deal with things in different ways
some of us resist it
some of us get pissed
while others just get wasted
some of us get tired
some of us expire
and others just get wasted
but we don't feel quite as old as we are on the outside

I;m sorry, but this made me cry just a little. I f**king love this song now. It cries for and compliments my own laments for naivete. Thank you for this song man. I haven't heard music this good in a while.

Awesome song. The guitar play sound beautiful for this type of song and your voice suits it well!
Only thing I will note is the ending. The flow of the song feels a bit sad, lonely with here and there a bit of anger as everyone else is moving on, but the end of the song stands a bit out to much. Personally I would like to hear a slower end there.
Still, I give it a 5/5
It stands out on purpose
thanks for the review i feel comfortable enough to take off my socks in front of you
