Here is a piano/electronic cover of the ending scene background music from the 1992 Sega Genesis video game, Sonic 2.

This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

MIDI modified and used with permission. Please note: I do have written permission to post this from John Weeks.

Awesome Work Man! I loved how accurate this was to the original. I have been following your work for quite some time now. I recommend that you change your instrumentation to give a more realistic feel though. I mean.. take this rendition for example https://soundcloud.com/hyper_sonic/so nic-the-hedgehog-2-ending-c
the piano sounds real but accurate. You piano just sounds... weird... so does the bass... and the drums. I still love this nonetheless because it sounds just like the original, which I love.

Ah. I have to agree that my sound set needs to be upgraded at some point. Software synthesizers last, which were last updated in 2001, can only take you so far. ^_^; [IE: WinGroove, Roland VSC, Yamaha XG]

At any rate, I'm glad you still enjoyed this tune and thank you very much for the good review. :)
