First time making a video game song, tell me what you think.

Rated 4 / 5 stars

I liked it, I thought it gave of a very cinematic feel. There were a few parts that clashed, but when it gets going I can really dig it. I really liked the synth and I really liked the piano when it's by itself, my only problem was that when they both combined they kind of sent mixed signals of tension. The synth is going for a faster paced tension while the piano is going for more of a subtle tension which really doesn't mix well.

The song really starts getting good by 1:51 when the violin kicks in along with the bass and synth with the piano playing more of a background role. In fact, I think the song should have started there with the beginning and ending having the solo piano to set the mood of tension as well as having a good build up to an awesome payoff.

Overall, this is really good for a first time at making a video game song. With practice, I can really see you becoming really talented with this.

The bass intro beat is a bit loud, I'd like it more if the piano was even more prominent. The cool synth effects really had a good feel too.

This seems very final fantasy like to me for some reason. I like it! The bass notes repeat a lot but that's my only feedback. 4/5
