My submission to the 2012 November NAC.

This was mostly done with my MIDI keyboard, which currently has the worst latency ever. rageragerage etc.

The improvised solos came out better than I expected though, so that was a nice suprise.

There's not really much else to say, except that I wish I'd had a less busy November so I could have put more work into it. Still, it didn't turn out awful, so I can live with it.

Enjoy, homefry.

NAC Judging
As much as the harp is a classic instrument for tracks of that era, you went for the other really classic sound, the bell. I loved the jazzy espect of this one. At 0:18, the bridge was nice! but then the strings were overpowering everything else so you failed with the mix in that part. Awesome bell solo, overall really nice composition. I didn't like the tapping percussion that is in the beginning and that comes back later on.

hahaha this is great.. although the violin.. ehhhh kinda gave it a bit too much of an orchestral feel to me and less of that plucky happy 50s feel.. but the rest of it was great, esp. those dings and that pizzicato ;)

good job! 9/10
