Back as a kid, I played games such as Platform Racing 2. I used this song in all of my custom made levels. I also played other games like SC Guitar Maniac. I was browsing songs to download for the GTA5 self radio station since NG has a lot of good music. I blindly clicked on this song and didn't really read the title. When I heard that guitar... tears filled my eyes. Hell, i'm still crying while i'm typing this review. It reminds me of the life I never had. The life I dream about. This song has helped me get through some tough times as a kid too. My mother beat me as a child, same as my Step Father. For some strange reason, this song always made everything better. Now, times are worse. My only friend died of cancer, my education is going to shit, the chances of me getting a good job when I graduate is extremely low. This song still manages to make life seem beautiful again. I don't know what it is about this song that just magically makes everything better, but I love it.

Thank you... for making my life better through your beautiful music.

Hey man, thanks for sharing--It's really nice that my music could do that for you.
The thing about music is that it puts us in the mindset that the romantic/idealistic notions we hold deep down are actually worth believing in and pursuing. Then the song ends, and we're back in reality where those thoughts and feelings are unrealistic, irresponsible, and apparently just a dream.
But, the truth is that romantic idealism is our hearts and minds telling us what we *really* want and need from life, and the life as prescribed by society is the collective delusion.
Its important at some point for each of us to look inward, determine our true personal values--the romantic ones, the idealistic ones, the principled ones, the ones that no one else may share--and spend our waking moments taking rational steps in pursuit of those values and of the life that we believe is not just good, but necessary for our happiness. If we have to get that education and get that minimum wage job, it won't be as an end in itself--but as a practical means to achieve our most unrealistic and idealistic notions of who we would like to be and how we would like to spend our lives. All great things come in small steps, and every morning we've got to ask ourselves what small steps we can take today toward our long term goals, and take them one at a time--even through death and hardship, we always have to keep one eye and one hand on those long term idealistic goals.
I recently watched someone close die of cancer, and in order to stay above water I took every possible free moment to exercise and to work on the long term creative goals that REALLY mattered to me, as ultimately, deeply personal and meaningful ideals are the only things that have the power to give our lives meaning when faced with life's most meaningless moments.
So do what you can to hold on to that sense of life's beauty even after the song ends, and try to bring that sense of romance, import, and heroism into your every day life, because that's what makes life meaningful.

This, Swear by the Hilt, and the Switch V.S. Evil-Dog songs are by far the best songs on Newgrounds.

Me being a bassist the bass in the song is really cool. Most punk songs i hear really blend the bass so you cant hear it, which is really depressing ): This has a great bassline
