This serves two purposes.

1) It is my entry to the Quest for the Crown competition.

2) It's a piece made for a supposedly upcoming game. I certainly hope this one doesn't fall through again. This piece would be for more sentimental dialogue.

Enjoy!

It's been a long time coming, yet I'm almost finished with the prologue. I'm glad to see this finally available. As another note, I damn well love this song and it suits the melancholic moments for sure.

SkyeWint responds:

Hey, great! No problem, man. Anytime. Just remember to ask for any others if you want them.

Liked it! Kind of reminded me of the soundtrack to Princess Mononoke. I liked the way you tossed the staccato accompaniment around a couple of different instruments from the 1:00 mark. Very nice.

SkyeWint responds:

Hey, thanks! The staccato section was just an idea that I had and decided to act on. :) Generally that's all I do - work on an idea I have until an idea to continue it with hits me, then I fiddle with that, try to bring it back into the initial idea somehow so that it has some kind of formatting, and go from there.

Pretty good use of instruments. Everything blended together well and the piano was amazing. Other than it could do with a bit more variety, it's pretty good and has potential to be much more.
