Composition wise I think it has some very good ideas. A few things that I thought could improve the song:

-- The song gains power in the first minute, but at 1:00 it kind of stops. At around 1:00, some of the instruments go from foreground to the back, with nothing else significant taking over. It actually sounded kind of like a fadeout to me, and for a sec i thought the song was ending.
-- There's a note or two at 1:24 that I thought was out of place.
-- 1:34 -- 1:47 sounds kind of empty, especially when you're holding on to a relatively long note. I think you could use some drums there.
-- The ending (or lack thereof) is a problem. You want to finish this up with some punch! Like you're questing for the crown the whole time and finally ended up at the top of the world at the end! Right?

That's all I've got. Again, this is good and IMO could have been even better.
